PRIOR EXPERIENCE/ COMPETENCIES

• While experience in makeup artistry/previous retail makeup experience is preferred, we welcome applicants without professional level experience who demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise
• Experience with retail, sales or customer service required
• Both virtual and in person training is offered
• Utilize retailer clienteling programs to build loyal client following and repeat business
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong drive for sales achievement with integrity
• Willingness to use social media to engage with clients and drive brand awareness

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Strive to achieve and exceed personal sales goals including company specific KPIs and individual sales tracking.
• Must work as part of a team to achieve and exceed team and counter targets
• Create brand awareness in the intersell environment through the sharing and demonstration of strong product knowledge
• Be proactive in booking appointments, maximizing every consultation, and planning and executing events
• Consistently create exceptional customer service and memorable client experiences
• Deliver Couture/Clash service through luxury experiences and pro artistry utilizing signature Valentino techniques
• Demonstrate immaculate personal grooming standards in accordance with the Valentino grooming guidelines, inclusive of wearing provided uniform daily

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a high school diploma or the equivalent

You possess strong written and verbal communication skills

You are comfortable performing services on customers’ faces (as necessary and when dictated by customer and business needs) after being trained on all proper protocols to do so

You have a flexible work schedule which includes nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Environment: Must be able to work on the sales floor for extended periods, walk up and down a flight of stairs and/or ladder as necessary, and lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis

Hourly rates for this position range from $17-$25 hourly depending on location and experience. Offers for employment and final pay rate is determined by the retailer, which is the employer for this role.
