NOTE: PAY IS BASED ON STYLIST'S INDIVIDUAL RATE & EXPERIENCE. WEEKLY PAY VARIES DEPENDING ON HOURS BOOKED AND STYLISTS CLIENTELE. LION AND LIONESS DOES NOT PAY STYLISTS.

Duties

• MEET WEEKLY BOOTH RENTAL FEE PAYMENT ON TIME
• Perform a wide range of hair styling services including cuts, trims, blowouts, and specialized styling for all hair types.
• Provide expert barbering services such as straight razor shaves, beard trims, and classic cuts with precision.
• Apply hair extensions and eyelash extensions to enhance client beauty and confidence.
• Consult with clients to understand their desired look while offering professional advice on color theory, hair care routines, and styling options.
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
• Assist with retail sales by recommending hair care products, makeup applications, nail care items, and upselling additional services to maximize client satisfaction.
• Support front desk operations by greeting clients warmly, managing bookings, and handling inquiries efficiently.
• Mentor junior stylists or apprentices to foster skill development within the team.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in hair styling, coloring techniques, and product innovations.

Experience

• Proven experience as a licensed cosmetologist or barber with a strong portfolio of diverse styling techniques.
• Skilled in hair coloring techniques including balayage, highlights, and color correction based on color theory principles.
• Familiarity with salon management software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms for scheduling and retail management.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices specific to hair salons to ensure client safety and hygiene standards are met.
• Experience performing specialized services like hair threading or makeup application is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively understand client needs and provide personalized recommendations.

Pay: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour
