We are seeking a talented and passionate Stylist/Cosmetologist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in cosmetology and barbering, with a keen eye for detail and a dedication to creating personalized looks for clients. Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of hair services including cuts, styling, coloring, and treatments using advanced techniques such as hair extensions and eyelash extensions
• Provide expert advice on hair care, color theory, and product recommendations to enhance client satisfaction
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness according to industry regulations
• Manage client appointments efficiently using salon software like Vagaro and store management tools
• Assist with front desk duties including scheduling, check-in/out, and retail sales upselling
• Offer additional beauty services such as makeup application and nail care to diversify service offerings
• Contribute to a positive team environment through effective communication skills and teamwork
• Stay current with industry trends in hair styling, barbering techniques such as straight razor shaves, and new beauty treatments

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license required and malpractice insurance
• Proven experience in hair styling, coloring, and advanced techniques like hair extensions and straight razor shaving
• Familiarity with salon software systems such as VAGARO or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of color theory, sanitation practices, and current beauty trends
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
• Experience in store management or front desk operations is preferred but not required
• Demonstrated ability to mentor team members and foster a collaborative environment
