As a Makeup Artist + Receptionist, you’ll enhance guest confidence through beauty services while also creating a warm, seamless arrival experience that sets the tone for their visit.

What You’ll Do

Makeup Artistry

• Deliver personalized makeup services for events, bridal, photoshoots, and special occasions
• Customize looks based on guest features, preferences, and comfort level
• Educate guests on product use and maintenance when appropriate
• Maintain sanitation and kit cleanliness standards

Guest Experience + Front Desk Support

• Greet guests warmly and set the tone for their visit
• Support booking, check-in, checkout, and guest flow
• Assist with phone, email, and booking platform communication
• Help maintain a calm, organized front-of-house environment

Team Support + Salon Flow

• Support stylists and team members during busy service periods
• Assist with guest transitions and experience continuity
• Help maintain retail presentation and guest areas
• Contribute to social content, events, or guest experience initiatives when needed

Requirements

• Valid NY Esthetics or Cosmetology License (if performing makeup services requiring licensure)
• Makeup portfolio (bridal, event, or editorial preferred)
• Previous customer service or front desk experience preferred
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Availability for evenings and weekends as needed
