We’re seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and trend-savvy Social & Digital Graphic Designer to help bring “French beauty, the LA way” to life across all digital touchpoints. This role works closely with Jouer’s Founder/Creative Director and Marketing team to shape and evolve the brand’s visual presence across social, email, paid media, and eCommerce.

Position Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a designer with a strong visual point of view and a passion for beauty, digital storytelling, and social-first design. You’ll concept, design, and produce visually compelling content that drives brand awareness, engagement, and conversion—while maintaining Jouer’s elevated, timeless aesthetic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Social-First Creative: Concept and design engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, paid social, and emerging platforms that support storytelling, product education, and brand affinity.
  • Digital Campaign Execution: Create on-brand assets for product launches, evergreen campaigns, paid advertising, email marketing, and eCommerce, ensuring consistency across channels.
  • Brand Vision & Aesthetic: Introduce fresh ideas and layouts that push the brand forward while honoring Jouer’s signature look and feel.
  • Motion & Video Integration: Design motion-based assets, including animated text, short-form video graphics, and social animations optimized for Reels and TikTok.
  • Launch Support: Partner with Marketing and Product teams to develop strong visual storytelling for new launches, collaborations, and key brand moments.
  • Trend Research: Stay ahead of beauty, social, and digital design trends to keep creative modern, relevant, and engaging.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Creative, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure visual consistency across digital, retail, and brand partnerships.
  • Creative Optimization: Support testing and optimization of creative to improve organic and paid social performance.
  • Asset Organization: Maintain and organize creative assets across Dropbox and Basecamp.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–5+ years of professional graphic design experience with a strong focus on social and digital content (beauty or fashion experience strongly preferred).
  • Education: B.A. or B.F.A. in Graphic Design or a related field.
  • Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing digital and social design work.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma; After Effects or motion design experience is a plus.
  • Trend Awareness: Deep understanding of social media trends, beauty branding, and translating campaign strategy into impactful creative.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional eye for typography, color, composition, and storytelling with the ability to execute efficiently.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, creative environment.
  • Agility: Comfortable managing multiple projects, tight deadlines, and shifting priorities.
  • Bonus: Experience with video editing, animation, or motion graphics.
