Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Independent Contractor Hairdresser to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled stylist who desires the flexibility of being an independent contractor while benefiting from collaboration and support from a vibrant salon community.

Key Responsibilities

Provide a range of hair services, including cuts, styling, coloring, and treatments.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
Stay updated on current trends, techniques, and products in the hair industry.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation to ensure a positive client experience.
Participate in promotional events and marketing strategies to attract new clients.
Uphold salon standards regarding appearance, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Qualifications

Valid cosmetology or barbering license in Illinois.
Proven experience as a hairdresser with a strong portfolio of previous work.
Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
