Hair Stylist / Barber

We are seeking a talented and professional Hair Stylist / Barber to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hair styling, barbering, and providing exceptional customer service. A strong understanding of salon/ Barber software such as squire, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to sanitation and store management are essential for success. Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions.
• Utilize salon software like SQUIRE for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness according to industry regulations.
• Offer personalized consultations to recommend styles, treatments, and retail products aligned with client preferences.
• Manage front desk duties including greeting clients, check-in/check-out procedures, and appointment confirmations.
• Upsell retail products such as hair care items, makeup products, and styling tools to enhance client experience.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Assist in store management tasks when needed, including inventory control and merchandising.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license.
• Experience with hair styling techniques including color theory, straight razor shaving, and hair extensions preferred.
• Proficiency with salon software such as SQUIRE or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in a salon setting.
• Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to perform additional services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, and hair threading is a plus.
• Retail sales experience and retail math skills for upselling products effectively.
• Store management experience or interest is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $700.00 - $2,500.00 per week
