Haus of Portraiture is entering an exquisite new chapter. As we expand into a refined, elevated Boudoir experience, we are seeking a part-time and full-time Hair & Makeup Artist who embodies artistry, elegance, and an intuitive understanding of feminine beauty.

We are looking for an artist who doesn’t just apply makeup—but elevates presence, enhances confidence, and creates an atmosphere of trust, comfort, and quiet luxury.

The Role

As our in-house Hair & Makeup Artist, you will be the first step in each client’s transformation. Your work sets the tone for the entire experience. From soft, radiant skin to effortlessly styled hair, your artistry will translate seamlessly on camera—enhancing natural beauty while aligning with our signature aesthetic.

You will work closely with our photography team to ensure each client is prepared, confident, and fully aligned with the vision of her session.

What You’ll Do

• Create polished, camera-ready hair & makeup looks tailored to each individual client
• Enhance natural beauty while maintaining a timeless, editorial finish
• Provide a calming, welcoming, and elevated experience from the moment the client arrives
• Collaborate with photographers to ensure cohesion in styling, lighting, and overall vision
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and professionalism within the studio
• Manage timing efficiently to ensure seamless session flow
• Stay aligned with Haus of Portraiture’s luxury aesthetic and brand standards

The Ideal Candidate

• Is highly skilled in both professional makeup artistry and hair styling
• Has experience in beauty, fashion, or boudoir styling (or a similar elevated environment)
• Possesses a refined, polished, and client-facing presence
• Has an intuitive ability to make clients feel safe, seen, and beautiful
• Understands how makeup and hair translate on camera
• Is detail-oriented, consistent, and takes pride in precision
• Thrives in a structured, high-end, team-oriented environment
• Is reliable, punctual, and committed to excellence
• Is open, coachable, and aligned with a brand-driven artistic direction
• Brings a calm, grounded, and nurturing energy to every interaction

Important Details

• Must be available Monday through Sunday, with flexibility for early mornings and evening sessions
• This is an in-studio position (not freelance)
• All work is performed under the Haus of Portraiture brand and artistic direction
