We are seeking a talented and personable Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for nail care and esthetic services, providing exceptional customer experiences in a professional and hygienic environment. Duties

Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art using current techniques and trends
Provide additional beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair threading, and esthetic laser treatments as applicable
Offer professional advice on nail care, color theory, and skincare to enhance client satisfaction
Maintain high standards of sanitation and sterilization in accordance with health regulations
Upsell retail products related to nail care, skincare, and beauty to clients
Assist clients with selecting appropriate services and retail items through effective communication skills and retail math knowledge
Keep workstations clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies
Build lasting client relationships through excellent customer service and personalized attention

Experience

Proven experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar cosmetology role with knowledge of nail care techniques
Certification or licensing in cosmetology or esthetics is required or preferred depending on local regulations
Familiarity with color theory, sanitation standards, and current nail trends
Experience with additional beauty services such as hair styling, hair extensions, dermabrasion, or barbering is a plus
Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and promote services/products
Ability to upsell retail items confidently while ensuring client satisfaction
Knowledge of retail sales procedures and retail math for effective upselling strategies
