As the Alumni Relations Manager, you’ll play an important role in connecting and engaging with our alumni community. Working alongside our team, you’ll help build strong relationships with students, graduates, salons, and industry partners, driving alumni success and enhancing connections across our network. This role requires excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the beauty and hair care industry. You’ll be a key part of fostering alumni pride and ensuring continued growth and support for our alumni and their careers.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: \(80,000 to \)90,000 per year (dependent on experience and location)
- Bonus: Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on personal performance and company results

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to engage and connect with alumni
- Lead campaigns across digital, social media, email, events, and traditional marketing channels to promote alumni engagement
- Plan and organize alumni events such as reunions, networking meetups, and professional development workshops
- Maintain and update a robust alumni database to ensure accurate information
- Distribute regular communications (e.g., newsletters and social media updates) to keep alumni informed and involved
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to celebrate alumni achievements and success stories
- Provide career support by building connections between alumni and potential job opportunities or mentorship programs
- Build and nurture partnerships with industry organizations and educational institutions to enhance alumni prospects
- Monitor and analyze alumni engagement data to assess program effectiveness and make improvements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in alumni relations, community engagement, or a similar role
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred
- Cosmetology license is a plus
Education Requirements Credential Category
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
Experience Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in alumni relations, community engagement, or a similar role
