Position Overview: Generation Love is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Stylist to elevate our client services and drive significant business growth at our Madison Avenue boutique. This pivotal role will be responsible for cultivating and expanding our client base, maximizing sales through personalized styling and proactive outreach, and fostering long-term brand loyalty. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned stylist with a proven track record in contemporary/luxury retail, exceptional clienteling skills, a strong understanding of the business, and a passion for exceeding sales targets and building meaningful client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Elevate Client Experience: Provide unparalleled, personalized styling services to both new and existing clients, creating curated looks that align with their individual needs and preferences.
• Drive Sales & Achieve KPIs: Proactively work to meet and exceed sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs), including average transaction value, client retention rate, and new client acquisition.
• Develop Top Clients: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with our top-tier clients, proactively identifying opportunities to increase their spending through personalized outreach, styling consultations, and exclusive previews.
• Strategic Client Development: Identify and develop potential clients within specific tiers, implementing tailored strategies to nurture them into loyal, high-value customers.
• Improve Client Retention: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients through consistent communication, personalized attention, and exceptional service, ensuring their continued engagement with the brand.
• Reactivate Inactive Clients: Develop and execute strategies to re-engage lapsed and inactive clients through targeted outreach and compelling offerings.
• Drive Business Through Appointments: Actively schedule and conduct productive client appointments, maximizing sales opportunities and providing a dedicated styling experience.
• Exceptional Clienteling: Connect with clients on a personal level, understand their style journeys, and build trust through authentic communication and storytelling about the brand and its offerings.
• Promote Brand Loyalty: Serve as a passionate brand ambassador, fostering a strong sense of loyalty and connection between clients and Generation Love.
• Maintain Client Records: Accurately and diligently maintain client profiles, purchase history, and preferences to provide highly personalized service.
• Stay Current with Trends: Maintain a strong understanding of current fashion trends, designer collections, and the contemporary luxury market.
• Collaborate with Team: Work collaboratively with the store team to ensure a seamless and exceptional client experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in retail sales and personal styling, preferable on Madison Avenue.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building a strong client book.
• Exceptional clienteling and relationship-building skills.
• Strong understanding of contemporary fashion and luxury brands.
• Experience managing and leveraging a consignment business is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented approach.
