Role Description

This is a on-site role for a Physician Assistant located in Bronx, NY. The Physician Assistant will be responsible for performing patient consultations, conducting skin examinations, performing cosmetic treatments, diagnosing and treating skin conditions. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing chart notes, taking medical histories, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, performing procedures such as biopsies and excisions, and providing patient education on skin care and treatments. The Physician Assistant will work closely with dermatologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient consultations, skin examinations, and diagnosis and treatment of skin conditions
• Proficiency in performing dermatological procedures such as biopsies and excisions
• Strong skills in taking medical histories and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals
• Current Physician Assistant license in the state of New York
• Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience in dermatology or a related field is a plus
