Job Description

As a Cosmetic Chemist and Compounder, you'll be responsible for formulating, mixing, and testing cosmetic and personal-care products in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements. You'll work closely with R&D, production, and quality teams to ensure consistency, safety, and innovation in every batch produced.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and refine cosmetic formulations for creams, lotions, gels, and other products
• Weigh, measure, and compound ingredients according to precise formulas and production orders
• Conduct stability and compatibility testing on raw materials and finished products
• Maintain accurate lab records and batch documentation
• Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, and safety regulations
• Collaborate with product development and quality assurance teams to improve formulations Requirements

Experience - 2+ years of hands-on experience in cosmetic formulation or compounding

Education - Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field (preferred)

Technical Skills - Familiarity with lab equipment, weighing instruments, and mixing procedures

Knowledge - Understanding of cosmetic ingredients, emulsions, surfactants, and preservatives

Attention to Detail - Strong record-keeping and quality-control focus

Commute - Must reside within a reasonable distance (60 minutes or less commute)
