Responsibilities

pspan1. Supports one (1) surrounding Drybar shops depending on geographic market and their team members with proper /spanspanauditions, training, understanding of new products; retail supplies, shop compliance, providing a positive /spanspanmorale approach, implement problem solving strategies and execute impeccable delivery of tasks./spanbr /span2. Manage service quality by upholding Drybar standards, including quality control checks in all area shops, /spanspanproviding feedback to the shop management, and reporting observations to the company senior leadership team./spanbr /span3. Facilitate training to maintain consistent and effective training for all shop team members while keeping in /spanspanaccordance with what is outlined in the Drybar standards./spanbr /span4. Conduct and lead orientation training for all new hire training to include the proper Drybar blowout techniques, /spanspannew hire paperwork, onboarding, services offered, and client experience training. Confirm that all training is /spanspanconducted in a timely manner of 3 days for all new hires and 1-2 days for rehires and/or depending on the needs of/spanbr /spanthe stylist./spanbr /span5. Identify on-going training and developmental needs for stylists. Recommend areas of needed development, as well /spanspanas congratulating successes on a regular basis, and articulate in a constructive and factual manner./spanbr /span6. Provide in-person shop support. Able to complete a minimum of 20 blowouts weekly to lead by example and help /spanspanincrease client count across market./spanbr /span7. Conduct stylist interviews and auditions to assess talent based on stylists’ technical capabilities./spanbr /span8. Train team members on new products and tools. Confirm communication of special product, merchandising and /spanspanservices promotions to all team members. Will be responsible for training others how to communicate promotions/spanbr /spanto clients or train stylists to technically perform the services being offered./spanbr /span9. Serves as a member of the leadership team by assisting in the management of shift leads, stylists, and bartenders /spanspanrequiring thorough understanding of the team member handbook, state supplement and all company policies, /spanspanprocesses and procedures./spanbr /span10. Ensure all company procedures and policies, federal, state and local regulations, health department and /spanspancosmetology board required standards of compliance and operations are met./spanbr /span11. Adhere to Drybar’s Timekeeping Policy. Responsible for reporting all time worked for self and others, including /spanspanany work performed off shop premises, in a timely fashion to management./spanbr /span12. Monitor shop inventory: regularly check all retail supplies; may assist with stocking product, tools and supplies. /spanspanMay support inventory management at the direction of Area Manager./spanbr /span13. Responsible for providing staff with weekly information as it relates to styling services, product launches, and/or /spanspanwhen directed by management. Assist with administrative tasks as assigned./spanbr /span14. Responsible for providing sales and training feedback, education results and other metrics to gauge effectiveness /spanspanof training to management./spanbr /span15. Participates in Area Shop Educator and leadership conference calls to provide partnership and create solutions to /spanspanaddress business needs around technical education and to drive sales./spanbr /span16. Provide ongoing advanced education for your assigned shops and ensure stylists are meeting the 45-minute /spanspanrequirement on managing a blowout./spanbr /span17. Provides excellent customer service, responding to all inquiries within 8 or less working hours./spanbr /span18. Participate fully in meetings, trainings and team building events./spanbr /span19. Follow and comply with the Company's Employee Handbook, policies, and procedures and work rules./spanbr /span20. Adhere to the concept of team, aligning to and supporting the company’s vision, mission, and goals./spanbr /span21. Performs other duties as assigned./span/p

Qualifications

pspanMinimum: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Current Cosmetology license; 2+ years’/spanbr /spanexperience as a stylist; Computer skills to learn new systems quickly, along with proficiency in/spanbr /spanWord, Excel and Outlook. Ability to always maintain confidentiality. Excellent verbal and written/spanbr /spancommunication skills required./span/pp /ppspanPreferred: Minimum qualifications plus, Experience in multi-unit/multi-state retail operations and consumer/span/ppspanproducts organizations. Bilingual Spanish/span/pp /ppspanGeneral Information: In order to perform the essential job functions of this position, candidate must be able to use/spanbr /spanappropriate techniques to implement programmatic activities; successfully complete mandated/spanbr /spantraining courses.
