Aesthetician (Full-time)

Our practice is seeking a skilled, service-oriented aesthetician to join our innovative and fast-growing medical practice in West Hollywood. This role is ideal for someone who blends excellent technical execution with a hospitality mindset, and shares our passion for health, wellness and highly personalized patient care.

Our practice is redefining the intersection of health, beauty, and longevity through regenerative aesthetics, precision medicine as well as the most advanced, evidence-informed approaches in plastic surgery.

Roles & Responsibilities

Patient Experience & Service Excellence

• Deliver a warm, elevated patient experience from consultation through follow-up
• Educate patients on skin health, home care, and treatment sequencing with clarity and confidence
• Ensure every patient interaction reflects our standards of the highest empathy, professionalism and discretion

Clinical Aesthetic Treatments

• Perform customized facials and skin treatments based on patient goals and skin assessment while ensuring adherence with their personalized aesthetic strategy
• Provide safe, effective services within your scope (e.g., facials, peels, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, extractions, LED, and other technologies if applicable)
• Recommend and support evidence-based home care regimens and product education, checking in on their needs regularly to ensure they are happy with their protocols.

Skin Assessments & Treatment Planning

• Conduct detailed skin consultations (history, lifestyle, sensitivities, recent treatments, skin and health changes)
• Support Dr. Christie in the execution of cohesive, long-term treatment plans, collaborating with our interdisciplinary clinical team
• Document treatments, product recommendations, and progress notes clearly and consistently
• Communicate with patients to provide skin regimen instructions and answer follow-up questions if applicable

Treatment Room Excellence & Clinical Standards

• Maintain exceptional treatment room readiness (setup, breakdown, sanitation, inventory)
• Uphold all safety, infection control, and practice protocols
• Support clinical team with supply tracking and backstock organization to ensure smooth daily operations

Growth & Team Collaboration

• Participate in ongoing training on protocols, adapt to evolving clinical standards, and new offerings
• Support the practice as it evolves, as this role may expand into broader responsibilities over time that incorporate more oversight, strategy and leadership

Qualifications

• Active California Aesthetician license (required)
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in a med spa, dermatology, plastic surgery, or luxury skincare setting preferred
• Strong consultation skills: able to assess skin, explain recommendations and build trust quickly
• Excellent communication and emotional intelligence as well as a calm, professional presence
• Familiarity with medical-grade skincare lines
• High attention to detail, cleanliness, and consistency in treatment execution
• Passion for skin health, wellness, personalized medicine and high-touch service

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training/certifications a plus
• Current CA Aesthetician licensure required
• Additional certifications preferred but not required: advanced peels, specialized protocols etc.
