This role is a critical part of DBA’s brand partnerships team with a specialized focus on the beauty vertical. You will be responsible for developing, pitching, and securing influencer marketing opportunities that connect leading beauty brands with DBA’s exclusive roster of talent and content creators. The position requires deep knowledge of the beauty industry, strong client relationships, and the ability to craft innovative programs that drive both revenue and cultural impact.
Compensation: $130,000.00 - $185,000.00 annually B.O.E
About DBA: Digital Brand Architects (DBA) is the industry leader in influencer management and marketing, representing over 200 of the most prominent social media influencers with a reach of 200M+. We specialize in connecting talent with leading brands across industries, with dedicated expertise in beauty, fashion, lifestyle, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a business partner and category specialist, representing DBA talent and developing beauty-focused digital and mixed media solutions.
- Conceptualize, develop, and pitch unique brand programs using DBA’s roster of influencers and creators.
- Proactively identify new business prospects in the beauty and personal care categories while supporting cross-vertical growth.
- Leverage existing brand and agency relationships to secure new partnerships and drive revenue.
- Respond to inbound RFPs with creativity and precision while defining project KPIs, objectives, and success metrics.
- Build proactive category packages to expand DBA’s footprint in beauty.
- Represent talent during deal negotiations by collaborating with internal teams and external partners to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Oversee projects from inception through completion, coordinating with team members and support staff.
- Collaborate with leadership (CEO, SVP Brand Partnerships) on strategic growth initiatives in the beauty vertical.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in digital sales, influencer marketing, or business development with a strong emphasis on beauty, personal care, or related consumer sectors.
- Existing network of relationships with beauty brands, agencies, and media partners.
- Proven experience developing, pitching, and closing deals with influencers or digital creators.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and respond effectively to RFPs alongside establishing and exceeding performance objectives.
- Strong knowledge of online media, social platforms, and current beauty/culture trends.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and consultative skills.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and deadline-driven with a proven ability to thrive in a collaborative culture.
- Competencies include: Strategic Thinking & Business Acumen, Relationship Building, Contract Negotiation & Deal Structuring, Creativity & Innovation in Marketing Solutions, and Collaboration & Cross-Functional Teamwork.
- Supervisory responsibility: Direct oversight of one or more employees at the Coordinator or Manager level.
- Occasional travel required for client meetings, industry events, and team gatherings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) and familiarity with beauty marketing metrics and influencer platforms (e.g., CreatorIQ, Social Rank).
- Experience with CRM and workflow tools such as QuickBase, Slack, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office alongside familiarity with creative tools like Canva and Adobe.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and social media measurement to effectively track performance.
