Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated Junior Hair Stylist who has recently completed cosmetology school and is eager to build hands-on salon experience. This role is ideal for someone who wants to develop technical skills, learn advanced techniques, and grow under the guidance of senior stylists.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior stylists during client services
• Shampoo, blow-dry, and prepare clients for services
• Support with basic haircuts, styling, extensions and color applications as skills develop
• Maintain cleanliness of stations, tools, and common salon areas
• Greet clients and help create a welcoming salon experience
• Learn salon procedures, product knowledge, and client communication
• Observe and participate in advanced services when appropriate

Requirements

• Valid California cosmetology license
• Recently graduated from cosmetology school or early-career stylist
• Basic knowledge of extensions, cutting, styling, and coloring techniques
• Strong willingness to learn and accept feedback
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Weekend availability preferred

Schedule
