Job summary

The Account Manager / Client Services professional will play a pivotal role in managing client relationships and ensuring the successful delivery of our insights platform services to beauty and personal care brands. This role requires a customer-centric individual with a deep understanding of the beauty and personal care industry and a proven track record in account management and client services. Reports directly to the CMO.

Responsibilities

Lead client communications including the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring smooth setup and delivering comprehensive training sessions, and product updates
Respond promptly to client inquiries, collaborating with technical support and product development teams to resolve issues and proactively mitigate potential challenges.
Analyze client usage data, providing insights and recommendations, and deliver regular reports on key metrics at both the client and industry level.
Identify opportunities for account growth, upsell additional services, and present renewal proposals, meeting and exceeding retention and expansion targets.
Develop and update training materials to support client education.
Work with sales, marketing, and product development teams to align strategies, participate in cross-functional meetings, and support new team member training.

Qualifications

Proven experience in account management or client services, preferably within the beauty or market research industry.
Strong understanding of the beauty market and industry trends.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
Proficiency in using CRM software and other client management tools.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding account management targets.
Highly organized, with strong time management and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
