Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Braider to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Braider, you will be responsible for providing exceptional braiding services to our clients while ensuring a welcoming and professional salon environment. Your expertise in various hair techniques and styles will help enhance our clients' beauty and confidence.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of braiding styles, including but not limited to box braids, cornrows, and twists.
Apply hair extensions as needed, ensuring proper technique and client satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with sanitation standards.
Utilize salon software, including MINDBODY, for appointment scheduling and client management.
Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to clients' needs and offering professional advice on hair care.
Assist with front desk operations, including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and managing appointment bookings.
Mentor junior staff members in braiding techniques and salon best practices.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, color theory, and braiding techniques.
Engage in retail sales by promoting products that complement the services provided, utilizing upselling techniques effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
