Account Manager (Beauty & Retail)

We are seeking a strategic, analytical, and relationship-driven Account Manager to support key retail partners within the beauty industry. This role is ideal for someone who excels in forecasting, financial planning, and driving strong consumer engagement across digital channels. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Demand Planning, Customer Service, and Marketing to deliver profitable growth and an elevated customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Business Performance

Lead and nurture partnerships with major retail accounts, overseeing financial trends, forecasting, and contract management.
Generate, manage, and distribute all key sales and cross-functional reports.
Predict current and future retail performance and shipment trends by connecting promotional strategies, replenishment flows, and sales drivers.
Proactively identify opportunities to optimize inventory levels, reduce out-of-stocks, and drive profitable sell-through.
Develop quarterly account budget and trend plans, including channel-level planning.

Consumer & Online Experience

Enhance the customer journey across partner sites through sample strategy management, new product launch execution, and Product Detail Page updates.
Manage quarterly brand animations and digital merchandising to support visibility and conversion.

Essential Duties

Determine optimal stock levels to meet retailer goals and capture growth opportunities.
Monitor, prevent, and resolve low-stock and out-of-stock issues.
Forecast replenishment flow and troubleshoot order processing barriers.
Plan and analyze promotional performance and sell-through rates.
Build and present weekly shipment forecasts, highlighting changes, risks, and opportunities.
Partner with internal teams to ensure flawless execution:
Customer Service for timely order processing
Demand Planning for SKU-level forecasting
Sales Administration for promo, launch, and constrained-item allocations

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years in wholesale sell-in, retail planning, or related beauty/consumer goods roles.
Strong understanding of the beauty industry, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
Analytical, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and results-focused.
Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficient in computer skills and able to manage multiple priorities.

Judgment & Decision-Making

Operates with moderate supervision while exercising sound operational and financial judgment.
Responsible for Weeks of Supply management and ongoing forecasting accuracy.
