Hairstylist, Barber and Nail Technicians

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and talented Hairdresser to join our vibrant salon team! Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and recommend suitable styles, colors, and treatments based on face shape, hair type, and personal preferences.
• Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading.
• Apply color theory principles to create custom color blends and ensure vibrant, long-lasting results.
• Use salon software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and sanitation protocols for tools, stations, and work areas to ensure client safety.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients professionally, listening attentively, and addressing any concerns or questions.
• Upsell retail products such as hair care items, makeup products, nail care essentials, and styling tools to enhance client satisfaction and store sales.
• Assist with front desk duties including appointment bookings, check-ins/outs, and managing the flow of clients smoothly.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair styling, barbering (including straight razor shaves), and retail sales strategies.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in professional hair styling.
• Proficiency in using salon software like MINDBODY for scheduling and client management.
• Strong knowledge of color theory, hair extensions application techniques, eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application.
• Skilled in sanitation practices to maintain a clean work environment adhering to health standards.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients confidently.
• Experience in retail sales and upselling techniques to promote products effectively.
• Ability to perform advanced services such as hair threading and straight razor shaves with precision.
