Experienced Nail Artist – Luxury Salon & Spa

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and talented Nail Artist to join our luxury salon and spa team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for nail care and beauty, delivering exceptional service to our discerning clients. This role offers the opportunity to showcase your creativity and expertise in a high-end environment, providing a range of nail and beauty treatments while maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of professional nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and artistry
• Provide additional beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser treatments as needed a plus +
• Maintain strict sanitation and sterilization protocols to ensure client safety and hygiene standards are met
• Offer personalized consultations to recommend suitable nail designs and treatments based on client preferences
• Upsell retail products related to nail care, skincare, and beauty enhancements to enhance client experience
• Assist clients with retail sales, product recommendations, and skincare advice to promote overall wellness
• Stay current with industry trends in color theory, nail art techniques, and new beauty treatments to provide innovative services
• Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication skills and outstanding customer service

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of nail care techniques, including gel nails, acrylics, and intricate nail art designs
• Proficiency in color theory for creating visually appealing nail designs
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and sterilization procedures within a salon environment
• Experience with hair extensions, hair styling, hair threading, barbering, eyelash extensions, and body waxing is a plus
• Familiarity with retail sales techniques and retail math for upselling products successfully
• Ability to perform esthetic laser treatments and dermabrasion procedures is desirable but not required
• Excellent communication skills to educate clients about services and products while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced luxury setting while maintaining attention to detail
