Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Takedown Specialist / Shampoo Assistant to join our team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about hair care, customer service, and working in a fast-paced salon environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently take down protective styles (braids, weaves, etc.)
• Shampoo, condition, and detangle clients’ hair
• Blow-dry hair thoroughly and prep for stylists
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive client experience
• Assist stylists as needed

Qualifications

• Experience with washing and blow-drying all hair types
• Knowledge of healthy hair care practices
• Strong detangling and handling skills
• Braiding experience is a plus (not required)
• Friendly, professional attitude with strong customer service skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and take direction

Requirements

• Must be dependable and punctual
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Willingness to learn and grow within the salon
