• Perform professional barbering services including haircuts, beard trims, straight razor shaves, and hair styling tailored to each client's preferences.
• Apply advanced techniques such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading to enhance client satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations, ensuring a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Utilize salon software like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records management, and retail sales tracking.
• Engage with clients through effective communication skills, understanding their needs and offering personalized recommendations.
• Upsell retail products such as hair care, nail care items, makeup products, and styling tools to boost store sales.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in cosmetology, barbering techniques, and customer service excellence.

Skills

• Proven experience in barbering with a strong portfolio of haircutting, styling, and grooming techniques.
• Knowledge of color theory for hair coloring services and the ability to execute various color treatments confidently.
• Skilled in using salon software like MINDBODY for scheduling and retail management.
• Expertise in sanitation practices to ensure a hygienic workspace at all times.
• Familiarity with retail math for effective upselling and inventory management.
• Strong communication skills to connect with clients and team members effectively.
• Ability to perform specialized services such as makeup application, nail care, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading.
• Store management experience is a plus for those interested in leadership roles within the salon setting.
