Responsibilities

• Perform professional haircuts, coloring, styling, and finishing services tailored to each client’s preferences
• Apply hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading to enhance client looks
• Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management
• Advise clients on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail sales opportunities
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations
• Stay current with the latest trends in hair styling, color theory, and barbering techniques
• Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and upselling retail products
• Mentor junior team members to foster a collaborative and skilled work environment

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience in hair styling and cutting techniques
• Proficiency in salon software like MINDBODY or similar platforms for scheduling and client records
• Strong knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Expertise in hair coloring, including color theory application for vibrant or subtle results
• Skilled in advanced services such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care
• Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide personalized recommendations
• Ability to perform retail sales through upselling products like styling tools or hair care items using retail math principles
• Experience with store management or supervising roles is a plus but not required
