About the Role

As a Beauty Specialist, you will be responsible for driving sales and delivering exceptional client experiences through your passion for beauty. You will maintain expert knowledge of top beauty brands, execute merchandise sets and support replenishment and visual standards according to industry best practices.

What You'll Do

Build strong relationships with clients by identifying their needs and providing personalized product recommendations, resulting in increased sales and client loyalty.
Demonstrate credibility and expertise through thorough knowledge of products and beauty trends, inspiring confidence in clients.
Inspire clients by demonstrating products and techniques, showcasing the benefits and features of various beauty products.
Actively engage in ongoing training and education to expand knowledge and stay up-to-date on the latest beauty trends and products.
Execute and maintain high-quality visual merchandising and operational standards, including merchandise sets, tester maintenance and department cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Support omnichannel customer experience by ensuring seamless interactions across all touchpoints.
Contribute to inventory management from receipt to sale, including freight processing, back stocking, replenishment, inventory counts and price changes.
Support visual elements of the department and communicate any issues or concerns to supervisors.
Exhibit integrity, honesty and teamwork while fostering an inclusive and engaged culture.
Making informed decisions and seeking guidance as needed, exercising good judgment and discernment.
Supporting and executing safety and shortage reduction programs following established guidelines.
Achieving multiple tasks within established timeframes and adhering to company policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
Maintaining adherence to company safety policies for the safety of all associates and customers.
Receiving and responding to direction from leaders and other personnel.
Ongoing responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Pas sion for beauty and ability to influence clients.
Client-facing retail or service industry experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to articulate complex information clearly.
Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements

Lift up to 50 lbs frequently and occasionally over 50 lbs with assistance.
Ability to climb, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, reach, lift, grasp, push and pull regularly.
Stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift (up to 8 hours).
Visual verification of information and locating/inspecting merchandise.
