Role Overview
We’re seeking a Global Sourcing & Production Manager to join our growing product team and
manage the execution of new product innovations across skincare, haircare, and body care. This role
requires an experienced, resourceful professional with deep industry connections and hands-on
expertise sourcing both packaging components and full turnkey products from overseas and domestic
vendors.
You’ll be the operational hub between internal teams, contract manufacturers, and packaging
suppliers — ensuring flawless, cost-effective, and on-time delivery of over 200 SKUs. This is a full-time,
on-site position based in West Los Angeles.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and manage domestic and international vendors for packaging, components, and full turnkey
products.
- Oversee all production timelines, purchase orders, and vendor deliverables from development through
shipment
- Prepare and maintain detailed cost sheets, quotes, and production budgets for components, turnkey fills, and
packaging.
- Serve as the main point of contact with contract manufacturers and packaging partners to ensure quality, cost,
and lead times are met.
- Work closely with internal Product Development, Creative, and Operations teams to bring new launches to life.
- Ensure all components, formulas, and finished goods meet brand quality and compliance standards.
- Research and source new materials, packaging innovations, and manufacturing capabilities to support brand
growth.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in sourcing, production, or operations within the beauty or personal care industry.
- Proven experience working with international vendors, particularly in Asia, for turnkey products and packaging.
- Strong understanding of beauty manufacturing workflows, materials, and quality standards.
- Established vendor network in skincare, haircare, or body care a plus.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in macOS, MS Office, NetSuite (or other ERP systems), and project management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously with meticulous attention to detail.
- Collaborative, resourceful, and comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
