Role Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Global Sourcing & Production Manager to lead sourcing and production execution across our beauty brands. This role is ideal for a hands‑on operator with deep experience in beauty manufacturing, packaging, and vendor management, who thrives in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.

You’ll serve as the central operational link between internal teams and global manufacturing partners — overseeing sourcing strategy, production timelines, costing, and quality across 200+ SKUs from concept through shipment.

This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in West Los Angeles.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and manage domestic and international vendors for packaging components, raw materials, and full turnkey beauty products
• Lead vendor negotiations, cost optimization, MOQs, lead times, and contracts while maintaining quality and compliance standards
• Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with manufacturers and packaging partners, particularly overseas (Asia experience strongly preferred)

Production & Operations

• Own production timelines, purchase orders, and deliverables from development through shipment
• Oversee production planning and manufacturing schedules to support launches and ongoing replenishment
• Prepare and manage detailed cost sheets, quotes, and production budgets across components, turnkey fills, and packaging
• Partner closely with Product Development, Creative, Operations, and Finance to bring new launches to market on time and on budget

Quality, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure all formulas, components, and finished goods meet brand quality, regulatory, and compliance standards
• Troubleshoot production, quality, or supply chain issues through root‑cause analysis and corrective action
• Research and source new materials, packaging innovations, and manufacturing capabilities to support brand growth and innovation

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in sourcing, production, or operations within beauty or personal care
• Proven experience working with international manufacturers, particularly in Asia, for turnkey products and packaging
• Strong understanding of beauty manufacturing workflows, materials, quality standards, and compliance
• Experience managing complex production calendars across multiple SKUs and brands
• Advanced organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Net Suite preferred; SAP, Oracle, or similar acceptable), macOS, and Microsoft Office
• Highly detail‑oriented, resourceful, and comfortable operating in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environment
• Established beauty vendor network is a strong plus
