• Consult with clients to understand their hair goals, preferences, and lifestyle needs, providing expert recommendations on color, cut, and styling options
• Perform professional hair coloring techniques including balayage, highlights, lowlights, and vibrant shades using advanced color theory principles
• Apply various styling services such as blowouts, updos, and special occasion styles that enhance each client’s unique look
• Utilize salon software systems for scheduling appointments, managing client profiles, and processing retail sales efficiently
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness by properly sterilizing tools such as straight razors and implementing best practices in salon sanitation protocols
• Offer additional services like hair extensions and makeup application to provide comprehensive beauty solutions
• Upsell retail products including hair care lines, styling tools, and accessories through effective retail math and customer engagement techniques
• Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in hair coloring, styling techniques, and customer service excellence
• Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients warmly, scheduling appointments seamlessly, and ensuring a positive client experience
• Extensive knowledge of hair coloring techniques grounded in solid color theory principles
• Proficiency in hair styling methods for various occasions and client preferences
• Experience with salon software systems for appointment management and retail transactions
• Skilled in applying hair extensions and makeup application
• Strong understanding of sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Excellent communication skills to effectively listen to client needs and provide personalized recommendations
• Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction
