We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist/Nail Tech to join our vibrant salon team. Experience with salon software such as MINDBODY is a plus, along with excellent communication skills and a commitment to sanitation and safety standards.

Duties

• Perform a variety of hair services including cuts, color treatments, styling, hair extensions, and hair threading.
• Provide professional nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements.
• Apply makeup and eyelash extensions to enhance client appearances.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness throughout the salon.
• Utilize salon software like MINDBODY for scheduling appointments, client management, and retail sales tracking.
• Manage retail product sales through effective upselling techniques and retail math knowledge.
• Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and handling client inquiries.
• Mentor junior staff or apprentices to foster skill development within the team.
• Support store management tasks as needed to ensure smooth salon operations.

Skills

• Proficiency in hair styling techniques including color theory, straight razor cuts, and hair extensions application.
• Experience with nail care services and makeup application.
• Knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY for booking and client management.
• Strong understanding of sanitation practices and safety protocols in a salon environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
• Ability to perform retail sales and upselling to enhance client satisfaction and revenue.
• Skilled in hair threading, eyelash extensions, and barbering techniques is desirable.
• Store management experience or mentoring capabilities are advantageous.

Pay: $250.00 - $3,000.00 per week
