AS Beauty is looking for a highly motivated marketing intern to help develop, implement and optimize influencer marketing campaigns across our owned social media channels. In this role you will be responsible for identifying, connecting with, nurturing and scaling relationships with influencers that are authentic to each of our five brands. You'll identify new opportunities to reach AS Beauty's growing community across our digital platforms, while monitoring competitors, media outlets, influencers and key trends. The ideal candidate is creative, always in the know of the latest social media trends, and can bring fresh ideas to the table. This is a perfect opportunity for an ambitious college student interested in learning more about the world of marketing and being able to help bring our campaigns to life. The right intern will enjoy the opportunity to grow personally and professionally while getting involved in day-to-day activities of our exciting company.

Must be able to work in our Manhattan office Monday-Thursday.

Responsibilities

  • Source and outreach to on-brand influencers and content creators
  • Create comprehensive influencer creative briefs for organic/ promoted social campaigns
  • Manage and execute organic influencer gifting and creative mailing efforts
  • Maintain an understanding of the overall influencer landscape and functionality related to each social media platform; research and stay up-to-date on top tier influencer brand partnerships and monitor competitive partnerships regularly; share updates to leadership as requested
  • Curate guest lists for influencer events: oversee outreach and support local event preparation
  • Brainstorm and execute organic campaign concepts across social platforms
  • Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with influencers and content creators and establish social-specific creative excellence fit for each individual channel
  • Support curation and send out of PR packages

Qualifications

  • Majoring in Marketing or Public Relations
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with a strong ability to support multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must be able to manage time well, stay organized, pay attention to detail, and work in a fast paced environment
  • Must have the ability to think strategically and to conceptualize and implement new ideas.
  • Have the ability to identify, prioritize and adjust to multiple needs.
  • Requires strong oral and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal and team building capabilities with internal functional groups as well as with external partners.
  • Knowledgeable about the intersection of earned, owned, and paid media
  • Ability to think creatively and independently, as well as collaboratively
  • Well-versed in the dynamic digital landscape and have a understanding of all social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok)
