Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and texturizing to meet each client’s unique preferences.
Apply hair extensions with precision to enhance clients’ natural beauty.
Advise clients on hair care routines, product recommendations, and styling techniques to ensure ongoing satisfaction.
Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools and workstations after each service.
Stay current on the latest trends in hair styling, color theory, and barbering techniques to deliver innovative looks.
Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing check-ins/outs, and answering inquiries professionally.
Upsell retail products and add-on services to maximize client satisfaction and salon revenue.
Manage store operations when needed by supporting store management with inventory checks and sales goals.

Qualifications

Valid cosmetology or barbering license required; additional certifications in eye brow threading or nail care are a plus.
Proven experience in hair styling, coloring, and cutting techniques with a strong portfolio of work. .
Skilled in applying hair extensions with attention to detail.
Familiarity with sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
Strong communication skills to effectively understand client needs and provide personalized recommendations.
Ability to perform retail math calculations for upselling products confidently.
Enthusiastic about continuous learning in areas like color theory, makeup application, straight razor shaving, and advanced styling techniques.
