Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Makeup Artist based in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves applying makeup for clients for various occasions, including events, photoshoots, or personal consultations. Responsibilities include collaborating with clients to understand their preferences, recommending suitable makeup products and styles, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and staying updated on trends and techniques in the beauty industry. While some on-site work will be necessary, working from home for consultative tasks or administrative duties is acceptable for this role.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Makeup Application and Hair Styling techniques
• Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to understand and meet client needs
• Proficiency in Cosmetology and knowledge of beauty and skincare products
• Experience in Sales and the ability to recommend and promote suitable products to clients
• Training skills to educate clients on products or techniques
• Attention to detail, creativity, and excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Portfolio showcasing previous work is a plus
• Certification or license in cosmetology or relevant field is preferred
