Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated Hairdresser with the unique opportunity to purchase the salon business. Duties

• Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling.
• Utilize salon software such as Inspire by STX for appointment scheduling and client management
• Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, check-in/out procedures, and sanitation protocols
• Conduct retail sales of hair products and accessories through effective upselling techniques
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with industry regulations
• Offer consultation on hair color theory and styling options tailored to client preferences
• Mentor junior staff or apprentices to develop their skills and ensure excellent customer service
• Assist with store management tasks if interested in business ownership opportunities

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license
• Strong knowledge of color theory, sanitation standards, and current hair styling trends
• Excellent communication skills and ability to provide outstanding customer service
• Ability to perform retail sales and upselling effectively to enhance client experience
• Experience in store management or interest in purchasing the business is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends; entrepreneurial mindset for potential ownership transition
