We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Cosmetologist Hair Stylist Educator to join our team. This role combines advanced cosmetology skills with educational expertise to train and mentor aspiring beauty professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair styling, coloring, extensions, and aesthetic treatments, along with experience in teaching and curriculum development. As a key member of our team, you will deliver comprehensive classroom instruction, demonstrate techniques, and foster a supportive learning environment to help students excel in their careers.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging lessons on various cosmetology topics including hair styling, coloring, extensions, and nail care.
Conduct practical demonstrations of techniques such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, facials, and esthetic laser treatments.
Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with industry standards and educational best practices.
Provide hands-on training in advanced skills like trigger point therapy, dermabrasion, deep tissue massage, and aesthetic treatments.
Assess student progress through evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new techniques into the curriculum.
Maintain a safe and professional classroom environment conducive to adult learning.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance program offerings and improve instructional methods.
Support students in preparing for licensing exams and career placement opportunities.

Qualifications

Valid cosmetology license with comprehensive knowledge of hair styling, coloring, extensions, and esthetic treatments.
Proven experience in teaching or training within a classroom setting or adult education environment.
Expertise in hair threading, nail care, makeup application, barbering, facials, dermabrasion, and aesthetic laser treatments preferred.
Strong understanding of anatomy relevant to cosmetology procedures.
Skills in lesson planning, curriculum development, and instructional delivery tailored to adult learners.
Knowledge of advanced techniques such as trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
